Aviattic 1:24 four-color lozenge pattern for lower surfaces (factory fresh) — a full-width decal sheet with the lighter lower variant of the German camouflage from the First World War in factory shades.
Responsibility details are not available.
A decal sheet from Aviattic with the four-color lozenge pattern for the lower flying surfaces of models in 1:24 scale, in the rich factory fresh version. The sheet is printed in the full width of the pattern, so you cut continuous strips from it with the polygons correctly aligned.
Printed aircraft fabric was supplied in two tonalities during the First World War. Darker, richer tones were used for the upper and side surfaces, while the lower surfaces received a lighter palette — an aircraft was projected against a bright sky for an observer on the ground, and light polygons blurred its outline effectively. This sheet carries precisely the lighter lower variant of the four-color pattern in fresh factory condition, so you put the correct camouflage together by combining it with the upper sheet.
The lower surfaces of the wings tend to be clearly visible on a standing model, so pay attention to the direction of the strips and to the alignment of the pattern across the ailerons and the tail surfaces. Lay them on a smooth gloss base, with a softener and patience; once dry, clear coat according to the intended finish.
This is a decal sheet — the model, varnish and other accessories are not included in the package.
