An accessory for modelers who build in a large scale. A continuous flexible belt 300 mm long replaces rigid plastic imitations and lets you route the ammunition the way it was routed in reality. In 1:24 scale the individual rounds are prominent and the difference against the part from the kit is visible at first glance.
The Cal.30 caliber, that is, roughly 7.62 mm, matches the light machine gun armament used in wings, in movable positions and on mounts. Large scales reveal every simplified surface, so this is where a separate ammunition belt makes the biggest difference. You will use the belt in an open gun bay, at an exposed gunner's position and in a scene with ammunition boxes.
In a large scale you have room for more careful painting, so consider different shades for the case, the bullet and the links of the belt. Start from a thin primer, then brass on the cases and a darker metal on the bullets, and finally a wash in the recesses and light work with a dry brush. Make the cut with a sharp scalpel between the rounds so that the end does not fray. Try the shape of the belt dry before painting and fix the bend with a drop of super glue. A freely hanging end looks natural, but do not leave it too long, so that it does not break off while the model is handled.
The package contains the ammunition belt only. The weapon, the model, paints and glue are not included. The part is small and does not belong in the hands of small children.
