This injection-molded plastic kit from the Japanese maker Hasegawa captures the racing Toyota Corolla AE101 in the colors of the Toms team with Fujitsu Ten sponsorship, in 1:24 scale. The body is molded in color and is accompanied by clear and gray parts and decals with the race numbers. It is a limited edition with well worked-out chassis parts.
The Corolla AE101 in the Toms team version was among the cars of the Japanese touring car championship of the early 1990s. It was a racing special built on the basis of the production Toyota Corolla, reworked for circuit racing with pronounced aerodynamics and the team's sponsor livery.
It is worth repainting the body even though it is molded in color, as a clear coat raises the final gloss. Apply the sponsor decals onto a smooth gloss base so that no silvered edges appear. Paint the details of the interior and the chassis with a brush, and the chrome elements can be brought out with metallic paint.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
