Pz.Kpfw. II, Ausf. F (1:24) is an Aber photo-etched detail set for a large model of the German light tank of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
An extensive set of fine photo-etched metal parts from the Polish maker Aber in 1:24 scale for a model of the German light tank Pz.Kpfw. II Ausf. F. It is not a kit of the tank but an accessory for raising the realism — thin fenders, grilles, tool clamps, clasps, meshes and other small fittings that plastic parts cannot replace faithfully.
The Pz.Kpfw. II was a German light tank that formed the backbone of the armored units in the opening phase of the Second World War. The Ausf. F version was a later production variant with a more resistant front of the hull. As a scale model it is popular for its compact size and its wealth of surface detail.
Separate the photo-etched parts on a hard surface and bend them along the score lines with a bending tool. Finish the running gear and the interior before closing the hull. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue and prime the metal. For the weathering, washes and pigments for mud and dust effects are a good fit.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model of the tank, glue and paints are not included in the package.
