A plastic kit in 1:24 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Hasegawa. The model captures the Mini Cooper S Countryman All4 in the special Ray Package specification. The parts are molded in several colors of plastic including clear and chrome-plated ones, and a decal sheet and illustrated instructions are included. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
The Countryman was the first crossover of the modern Mini brand and offered a taller body and more room than the classic hatchback. The sharp Cooper S version with All4 all-wheel drive combined a lively turbocharged engine with the brand's eager character. The Ray Package was a special specification with distinguishing design features.
Use liquid modeling cement on the plastic joints. Paint the body over a surfacer with a gloss coat, ideally with an airbrush, and bring it out with a clear coat. The two-tone finishes typical of a Mini call for careful masking of the roof. Apply the decals over a smooth gloss surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
