An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese Mitsubishi FTO sports coupe in the GPX and GS versions of the 1994 model year, in 1:24 scale from Fujimi. The model captures the compact shapes of this front-wheel-drive coupe. The package holds body, interior, chassis and glazing parts, wheels and decals to finish the model.
The Mitsubishi FTO is a Japanese sports coupe with front-wheel drive, introduced in the first half of the 1990s. The top GPX version was powered by a V6 engine and offered a lively character that was modern for its day. The GS version was one of the more affordable versions of the range. The FTO won popularity in Europe as well, as a fresh Japanese coupe.
On this model a smooth gloss finish on the body, sprayed with an airbrush and polished, comes out best. Finish and paint the wheels and the interior before assembling the body. Glue the glazing and the chrome with a cement that does not fog clear parts. Apply the decals over a gloss surface and finally choose the matching level of sheen for the varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
