It is a classic injection-molded kit of a passenger car, of the kind Aoshima issues within its automotive lines.
The Alphard is a people carrier built above all for the Japanese market, where this class takes the role of both a family and a prestige car. The first generation was produced from the beginning of the millennium and became known for a roomy interior with comfortable second-row seats, a tall body and an unmistakable massive front grille. During production it was offered in several trim and engine forms, which is reflected in the designation of this kit as well.
The large flat surfaces of the body are unforgiving of dust and unevenness, so careful degreasing and a thin primer come before the paint. Apply the paint in several coats and let it cure before polishing. The chrome strips and the grille come out well if you use a good metallic shade or chrome foil, and the windows on this type of car are often tinted, which can be imitated with clear smoke paint. The interior of an MPV is clearly visible, so it is worth distinguishing the shades of the upholstery and the dashboard.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
