The boxing is aimed at the form with a spoiler under the front bumper, which was among the popular modifications of its day. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and decals are part of the package.
The Sunny Truck is a small pickup derived from the Sunny passenger range. It was built with a conventional layout, that is the engine at the front and rear-wheel drive, with a simple rear axle and an open bed for a light load. On the Japanese market it was sold for an exceptionally long time — from the early 1970s into the 1990s, practically without a change to the basic shape — and thanks to that it became an ordinary part of the streets and of small businesses. It was precisely its simple engineering, low weight and availability that made it a popular car for modification: a lowered chassis, wider wheels and additional aerodynamic elements including the chin spoiler that this kit carries.
The bed is the most visible part of this model, because it is open — sand the floor and the sides carefully so that no traces of the sprue gates are left on them, and set any wooden slats or the load floor apart from the body in color. Fit the chin spoiler only after the body has been painted and glue it with a small amount of superglue, so that no white blooming appears on the finish. On a utility vehicle, gentle weathering looks natural: suggest dust in the pressings of the bed, a darker wash around the hinges and light wear on the edges. Glue the glazing with cement made for clear parts and finish the cab before you close it up with the body.
