This is not a kit but an accessory for your own kit. The package contains fifty resin turnbuckles for bracing wires in the form the manufacturer describes as single-ended. According to the name, the fitting is arranged so that the wire is attached at one end only, while the other side is terminated fixed. Compare the shape of the fitting with the illustration on the packaging before buying.

When to reach for the single-ended form

Not every place on a model needs a turnbuckle visible from both sides. Where the fitting disappears into the covering, at the wing root or behind a strut, a full double-ended part is wasted and only complicates the assembly. The single-ended form simplifies these situations and at the same time saves the more complex parts for places that are clearly visible. In practice both variants are combined on one model.

Assembly notes

Before gluing, wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent so that no mold release agent is left on them. Cut the casting block off with a new blade, level the surface and do any sanding wet with respiratory protection. Fit the turnbuckle onto the wire before you glue it to the model. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue and put a drop of it on a surface rather than straight onto the part — then transfer it into the joint on the tip of a wire so that the glue does not flood the eye. You can manage the painting before the part leaves the casting frame.
