A set of turned metal barrels from the Polish maker Aber in 1:24 scale for a model of the German light tank Pz.Kpfw. II Ausf. F. It replaces the plastic barrels of the base kit with accurately machined metal parts with a perfectly round cross section and a sharp muzzle that plastic will never give.
The Pz.Kpfw. II was armed with an automatic gun of 2 cm caliber and a coaxial machine gun. The turned barrels give the turret the right proportion, straightness and fineness of the muzzle. The metal also adds real weight to the detail and stands up to damage in handling.
Degrease the metal barrels before gluing and prime them with a primer for metal. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Blacken the muzzle of the gun carefully and accent it lightly with pigment for a scorched effect.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model of the tank, glue and paints are not included in the package.
