The set from MASTER contains 20 turned brass barrels for the German heavy anti-aircraft gun of 37 mm caliber, the SK C/30 (barrel length 83 calibers), in 1:350 scale. The metal barrels replace the plastic parts and raise the fidelity of the small anti-aircraft armament. It is a detail accessory, not a ship model.
The 3.7 cm SK C/30 was a semi-automatic (single-shot) heavy anti-aircraft gun of the Kriegsmarine. It was fitted in stabilized twin mountings and was a standard part of the armament of practically every larger German warship from roughly 1930 to 1943, when automatic weapons gradually replaced it.
Separate the thin barrels carefully from the casting block, clean them up and glue them on with cyanoacrylate. Degrease the brass before painting and apply a primer, then put the paint on with an airbrush because of the fine detail.
This is a metal detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
