Toyota JZX90 Mark II Grande and Tourer is a plastic kit of a Japanese sedan of the early 1990s in 1:24 from the manufacturer Aoshima.
Responsibility details are not available.
This kit from the Japanese manufacturer Aoshima, from its automobile range, captures the Toyota Mark II of the JZX90 generation, the 1992 model. The package holds injection-molded plastic parts, clear glazing parts, rubber tires and a sheet of decals. The version allows the car to be built in the Grande trim and in the more sporting Tourer version.
The Mark II of the X90 generation was sold from 1992 and was one of the key Japanese upper-mid-size sedans. Alongside the quiet six-cylinder versions for families and taxi work it also offered a variant with a turbocharged inline six, which made the car a favorite basis for later street and drift modifications. The body with its smooth surfaces and narrow headlights is typical of Japanese automobile design of that time.
Automobile kits stand or fall on the quality of the paint. First rid the body of flash and mold seams, wash it in lukewarm water with detergent and apply a filler primer. Spray the color in thin layers, let it dry thoroughly and tune the gloss with a clear coat or by polishing. Apply the decals to a glossy surface and fix them with a layer of varnish. The interior and the chassis are brought to life by a dark wash into the recesses; leave the chrome parts for the end so that they do not get scratched.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
