A color 3D interior decal from Quinta Studio in 1:48 scale on backing decal paper. The detail is printed on a flexible film with real relief, so the instrument consoles, the side panels and the cabin equipment look three-dimensional. The colors and the labels are pre-printed, so the interior does not have to be painted by hand. The target kit is the Airfix one.
The Westland Sea King was a British multipurpose helicopter built under license from an American design. The HU.5 version served in British naval service for search, rescue and transport duties. Its roomy cabin and richly divided instrumentation offer a modeler a rewarding field for detailed work.
Cut the part out of the sheet, soak it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the backing paper into place. The parts have no adhesive layer of their own and hold on a gloss coat such as Future or Klear, or Tamiya X-22; on complex areas a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as the chemicals attack the printed resin. With a large cabin, work section by section and degrease the surfaces beforehand.
The set contains the interior 3D decals only. The Airfix base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
