An accessory from the diorama line of the Polish brand Yamamoto Model Parts, named after the Polish town of Kobylki. It belongs to the equipment of a garage workshop in 1:24 scale, so it is an element of the scene around a car model, not a kit of a vehicle and not a finished diorama ready to display. What you are buying is a themed workshop accessory that gets assembled and painted.
A garage diorama is put together in layers: first the surface and the walls, then the machines and the workbenches, and at the end the small things that make the scene lived in. This accessory aims at the workshop equipment, that is at the layer that cannot be made out of leftovers from kits, as plastic car kits end with the vehicle and hold nothing of the surroundings. The advantage of the brand is that the whole line holds one scale and one visual style, so the individual elements do not look like a patchwork from different sources when they stand side by side.
Separate the parts from the carrier, level the seating surfaces with a file and wash them in lukewarm water with dish soap before painting, so that the paint holds. Choose the glue according to the material; on resin and 3D-printed parts, super glue holds reliably. Paint over a primer, in rich and contrasting colors, as a workshop setting is varied in color. What makes it convincing in the end is the patina: a dark wash into the recesses, a dry brush on the edges and discreet dust from a pigment around the floor. Do not hurry to glue anything to a base until you have the scene laid out.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and further parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
