This Fujimi kit in 1:24 scale captures the Japanese luxury sedan Nissan Cedric/Gloria of the Y31 generation in the 2.0 Gran Turismo SV trim. The package holds injection-molded plastic parts, clear glazing, a decal sheet and enclosed window frame masks. The model is meant to be assembled and painted.
The Cedric and the Gloria were practically identical Nissan luxury sedans, sold under two names and differing mainly in details and in the sales network. The Y31 generation ranks among the popular representatives of Japanese VIP sedan culture. The Gran Turismo SV version with the two-liter engine represented a sportier level, with the emphasis on elegance as well as on handling.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic. Treat the body with primer and paint it with an airbrush; a gloss clear coat will bring out the representative look of the sedan. Stick the enclosed masks onto the windows before spraying the frames. Chrome trim strips and the interior will complete the realistic impression. Apply the decals over a gloss base.
