Hurst Oldsmobile cars came out of the cooperation of the Oldsmobile car maker with the tuner Hurst, renowned above all for its gear shift mechanisms. The 1983 form was based on the Cutlass range coupe and took up a tradition begun at the end of the 1960s: an eight-cylinder engine under the hood, the characteristic two-tone finish with pronounced accents and the unconventional Hurst sport shift lever made it a car prized by collectors from the era when the American car makers were returning to performance.
Prepare the body carefully; sanding the parting lines down and a base primer show up more on cars than anywhere else. Spray the two-tone finish in stages through masks and let each coat dry out properly; the gloss at the end is helped along by clear coat and polishing. On the interior it pays to bring the instrument panel alive with a brush, and the shift lever, which belongs to this car inseparably.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
