A turned metal gun barrel from RB model, a replacement of the plastic part on a finished model. It is a detail accessory, not a model of the vehicle. The very long metal gun barrel has a perfectly circular cross section, a sharp muzzle and a faithfully rendered muzzle brake, which is a problem in plastic for such a slender part.
The 8.8 cm KwK 43 gun with a gun barrel 71 calibers long was the main armament of the Tiger II heavy tank, nicknamed Tiger B or King Tiger. It was one of the most effective tank guns of the Second World War and could destroy Allied vehicles at long range.
Clean the metal part, degrease it and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. With a long gun barrel, watch its alignment so that it sits exactly on the axis. Apply a metal primer before painting.
It is supplied as a separate detailed metal part. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
