A turned metal gun barrel from RB model, a replacement of the plastic part on a finished model. It is a detail accessory, not a model of the vehicle. This variant matches the version for the production turret of the Tiger II. The metal gun barrel has a perfectly circular cross section, a sharp muzzle and a faithful muzzle brake.
The 8.8 cm KwK 43 gun with a gun barrel 71 calibers long was the main armament of the Tiger II heavy tank (Tiger B). The later, production turret differed from the early turret in shape and layout, but the gun remained one of the most effective tank guns of the Second World War.
Check that you are building the version with the production turret. Degrease the metal part and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue, and align the long gun barrel on the axis. Apply a metal primer before painting.
It is supplied as a separate detailed metal part. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
