The steel pre-painted seat belts 1:48 Sikorsky UH-60A seatbelts STEEL form a standalone photo-etched set for the crew of the Black Hawk helicopter in 1:48 scale.

The package UH-60A seatbelts STEEL contains a single kind of part: multicolor-printed seat belts etched from steel. Eduard offers them separately because on a helicopter with a generously glazed nose and sliding side doors it is precisely the belts that are the most conspicuous element of the interior.
Steel sheet holds its shape more springily than brass. Once glued on, a strap can be shaped so that it hangs freely over the edge of the seat shell and does not come across as a flat strip of sheet metal. The print sets the fabric apart from the metal buckles and clips, so the laborious painting of small areas with a brush falls away.
The pilots sit in armored seats with a multi-point harness; the door gunners and the troops carried have simpler restraints. The shades of the straps changed over the course of the service, so compare the coloring with a photograph of the particular machine you are building.
Take the belts carefully out of the fret and fold them at the marked bend lines. Shape them with a wooden toothpick over a rounded edge, not with metal tweezers, as otherwise sharp creases and scratches in the print will result. They are attached with a spot of cyanoacrylate glue, or with clear coat if you want time to line them up.
Do not throw the fret away once the belts have been cut out; it will serve as a firm surface when bending other small parts.
