Eduard 1:32 B-17G engine No. 3 is a resin (Brassin) set from the manufacturer Eduard with one of the engines rendered faithfully for the model of the B-17G Flying Fortress bomber in 1:32 scale. It is not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin detail set from the Brassin line of the Czech manufacturer Eduard, as a rule filled out with photo-etch. It is not a model of an airplane but an accessory: the set holds one complete engine of the B-17G Flying Fortress bomber in 1:32 scale, including the engine cowling with the cooling flaps. The cowling can as a rule be built in the closed as well as the opened-up form. The designation No. 3 answers to one of the four engines of the aircraft.
The Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress was an American four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War. It was powered by Wright R-1820 Cyclone radial engines. The G version had a front turret under the nose and was the most numerously produced variant.
Wash the resin parts clean of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the radial engine after assembly and bring the leads and the lines out with a wash. For an opened-up engine count on adjusting the engine nacelle.
This is an accessory, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
