A set of six resin BD3-USK racks in 1:32 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer Reskit. Note that this is not a model of an airplane; it is an accessory set of racks, that is to say the link between the pylon and the stores carried, without which the external load of a modern machine never looks complete.
BD3-USK racks belong to the standard stores equipment of modern Russian combat aircraft. On a real machine they are visible under every pylon, but in kits they tend to be simplified, or missing altogether. Six separate castings make it possible to fit out the whole external load uniformly, whether you are building a machine with a full load or want to lay part of the stores onto trolleys beside the aircraft in a diorama. In the large 1:32 scale it is exactly such small things that make the difference between a good and an outstanding model.
Before building, wash the parts clean of mold release residue and separate them carefully from the casting blocks; hold the small castings with tweezers while cutting so that they do not fly away. Super glue (cyanoacrylate) will handle the bonding, and a primer goes on before painting. It is practical to paint the racks and shade them with a wash while they are still off the model, because on a finished model you reach them with a brush only with difficulty.
This is an accessory set: the base model and the stores are not included in the package.
