1:32 Curtiss P-40E Kittyhawk part 2 is an Eduard collective set from the Big Ed range that gathers several accessories for a P-40E model in 1:32 scale into one package.

Big Ed is the way the Czech company Eduard from Obrnice near Most packs several separately sold accessories for one kit into a common envelope. The customer therefore does not have to put the collection together piece by piece. The designation part two means that for this subject there is also a second collective envelope with a different selection of accessories. Check the list of sets inside the envelope in the manufacturer's catalog. These are accessories to a separately sold model, not a kit.
The Curtiss P-40 was an American single-engine fighter from the end of the 1930s with a liquid-cooled engine and a distinctive deep cooling bath under the fuselage. The E version was among the most widespread and in British and Allied usage was designated Kittyhawk. It was deployed in North Africa, in the Far East and in the Pacific, where it drew more on the toughness of the airframe and good performance near the ground than on its qualities at altitude. It was precisely the large number of user countries that made it a popular modeling subject.
Separate the photo-etched parts from the envelope with a scalpel on a glass surface, not by twisting, so that they are not deformed. Use a bending tool or at least two blades for the folds. Pre-colored photo-etched parts are attached with super glue applied with the tip of a wire, not straight from the tube. Masking film, if the envelope contains any, should be applied to degreased glazing with the edges pressed down with a toothpick, so that paint does not seep under. Lay the accessories out in full against the kit instructions first, so that you know what is fitted before the fuselage is closed up.
This is a collection of accessories, not a model in its own right. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
