Eduard 1:32 Douglas A-26C Invader rear interior is a photo-etched detailing set for the rear part of the interior. It is an accessory for a plastic model in 1:32 scale, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched detailing set from the Czech maker Eduard for working up the rear part of the interior on a model of the Douglas A-26C Invader in 1:32 scale. The parts are etched from thin sheet and fill out an area that injection-molded plastic handles only in simplified form. The set is not a kit — to use it you need the matching plastic model.
The name limits the set to the rear interior, that is the space behind the pilot's cockpit. In 1:32 scale this is an area clearly visible with the hatches and the glazing open, and where the difference between bare plastic and photo-etched metal tells the most. The specific extent of the parts is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The Douglas A-26 Invader was an American twin-engine all-metal attack aircraft. The internal layout of the fuselage behind the cockpit included the station of the rear crew member and technical equipment; on a model it is a space that a suitable build can open up to view.
Separate the parts with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface, not with nippers. Make the bends in a bender or between two blades. Degrease the sheet and glue with superglue (cyanoacrylate) or an adhesive for photo-etched parts — ordinary cement for plastic will not join metal. Paint the inner parts before the fuselage is closed up; use a primer meant for metal on bare sheet. Plan the small parts out in advance and fit them in order from the largest to the smallest.
This is an accessory for a model, not the model itself. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
