This is not a kit of the aircraft but a cockpit accessory. The package holds a photo-etched instrument panel printed in color at the factory, with legible dial faces and fine panel relief. On the Storch this is an exceptionally useful improvement, because the glazed cabin of this aircraft offers a view into the interior from practically every side and any unfinished corner in the pilot's area shows at once. In 1:32 scale that goes double.
The Fieseler Fi 156 Storch was a German liaison, observation and ambulance aircraft with excellent takeoff and landing qualities. Thanks to the fixed leading-edge slats, the large landing flaps and the long travel of the landing gear it could take off and land on a very short strip, practically in a meadow or on a road. It was powered by an air-cooled Argus V engine. Its characteristic features are the strut-braced high-wing layout and the roomy glazed cabin with an excellent view downward.
Try the part dry and only then glue it. The raised instruments usually have to be removed from the plastic panel, so that the photo-etched part sits flat. Use a small amount of cyanoacrylate or a glue meant for photo-etched parts, applied along the edges with a toothpick. Protect the print from solvents and from greasy fingers. Because the interior of the Storch is well visible, it pays to match the shade of the cabin and to spray the framing and the floor before the panel is set in. A drop of clear gloss varnish in a dial gives the impression of glazing.
This is a cockpit accessory, not a kit of the aircraft. The model, the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
