A turned metal detail part that replaces the plastic pitot tube on the nose of a model of the MiG-23 MLD (NATO reporting name Flogger) in 1:32 scale. The metal build captures the thin forward sensor faithfully and is markedly tougher than the plastic original.
The MiG-23 was a Soviet fighter with a variable-geometry wing. The MLD version was one of the most capable interceptor variants of the family and served from the end of the 1970s. The forward sensor is one of its recognition details.
Cut off the original plastic sensor, drill a seating hole and glue the metal part in with cyanoacrylate. The part is strong and stands up to being painted together with the model.
This is a detail part, not a model of the aircraft. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
