A figure of a combat aircraft pilot of the North Atlantic Alliance countries in 1:32 scale. It will complete a model of an aircraft in a display case or on a base.
Responsibility details are not available.
The figure captures a pilot of a combat aircraft of the North Atlantic Alliance countries. A figure beside a machine gives a model the scale the aircraft alone never gives: only when it shows how high the cockpit reaches on a pilot, or how far he sits from the ground, does the viewer grasp the real size of the subject. That is exactly why modelers reach for figures even where they are otherwise building a purely technical model.
It is a figure in 1:32 scale. The number of parts and the pose are given in the manufacturer's information and illustration. Neither a model of an aircraft nor a base is included.
Before painting, wash and degrease the figure and let it dry perfectly. Apply the paint in thin coats, so that the relief of the folds and the small items of equipment are not lost. The procedure that has proved itself is a base shade, then once dry a darkening into the folds and finally careful lightening of the edges. Leave the face until the end and work on it in good light and with a magnifier; the eyes decide the final impression more than the rest of the figure.
It suits builders of aircraft models in 1:32 scale who want to bring a finished model alive, and collectors of figures alike. Painting a figure is a different discipline from building an aircraft, so it is at the same time an opportunity to try it out on a single piece.
The model of the aircraft, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
