A resin aviation accessory, Quickboost — Yak-3 propeller with an alignment jig (1:72). This is NOT an airplane model but a replacement resin propeller with an alignment jig.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin replacement propeller for the Soviet Yak-3 fighter in 1:72 scale from Quickboost. This is NOT a complete airplane model but a detail accessory: a crisply cast propeller with blades and a spinner, which takes the place of the injection-molded plastic part from the matching kit and raises the fidelity of the finished model. An alignment jig is included, which helps to set the blades to the correct angle and seat them symmetrically. The accessory is aimed at more experienced modelers. The exact package contents are not stated here.
A propeller in fine resin has a sharper blade profile and cleaner hub detail than the plastic part usually supplied. The jig included makes assembly far easier, because it keeps every blade at the same angle, so the propeller does not look twisted. It serves as an upgrade for the matching Yak-3 model in 1:72 scale.
First wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove mold release residue. Carefully cut off the casting blocks and bond the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways while sanding. Apply a primer before painting; propeller blades tend to be dark with warning stripes at the tips, and the hub in the airframe shade. Finish the surface with a matte varnish.
This is a resin accessory for experienced modelers, not a complete model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
