1:32 Numbers for Sukhoi Su-27UBM, Ukranian Air Forces, digital camouflage

Su-27UBM decal set in 1:32 scale (FOXBOT)

An aftermarket set of water-slide decals from the Ukrainian brand FOXBOT. The sheet contains fuselage numbers for the two-seat Sukhoi Su-27UBM of the Ukrainian Air Force in the modern digital (pixel) camouflage. It serves as an accessory to a plastic model; on its own it is not a kit.

The real subject

The Su-27UBM is a combat-capable two-seat version of the Su-27 Flanker family of fighters, which the Ukrainian Air Force operates as a trainer and as a combat machine. In recent years a number of the aircraft have received a digital gray-blue pixel camouflage, which these numbers match in color and in style.

Application

• Apply the decals onto a smooth gloss finish, so that no silvering edges appear.
• Use a decal softener and a decal fixer so that they settle into the engraved lines.
• Once dry, overspray with a matte or semi-gloss varnish to even the surface out.
• They are worth supplementing with markings and technical stencilling from other sets.

Who the set is for

• Modelers building the large Su-27UBM in 1:32 scale.
• Anyone interested in current Ukrainian schemes with digital camouflage.

This is a standalone set of decals. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
