Eduard 1:32 P-51D-5 interior is a photo-etched set of accessories for refining the cockpit of the famous Mustang fighter. It is not a model but an accessory for a kit.

A photo-etched detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard focused on the cockpit interior of the P-51D-5 Mustang fighter in 1:32 scale. It adds fine items of the instrument panel, the side panels and other details of the cockpit that injection-molded plastic cannot capture. It is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory for a plastic kit.
The North American P-51 Mustang was an American single-seat fighter of the Second World War, famous for the long range thanks to which it escorted bomber formations deep over enemy territory. The D version with a teardrop canopy offered an excellent view. The early D-5 series did not yet have the added dorsal fin fillet that appeared on the later machines.
The parts are separated with a sharp knife, bent over an edge and glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the bare brass parts and spray them with primer once assembled. It is a good idea to finish the interior and fit it before the fuselage halves are joined, because once they are closed the cockpit is harder to reach.
This is a supplementary photo-etched set, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
