HGW – a photo-etched set of external details for the Roland C.II in 1:32 scale. Brass photo-etched parts for refining the surface and the exterior of the German aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
An aftermarket set of brass photo-etched parts from HGW intended for detailing the exterior of the plastic model of the German aircraft L.F.G. Roland C.II in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model but an accessory aimed at the surface elements – covers, grilles, fittings, steps and other details that refine the look against coarser plastic.
The Roland C.II Walfisch was a German two-seat reconnaissance and escort aircraft of the First World War with a bulky aerodynamic fuselage and a Mercedes D.III inline engine. Its clean lines made it a fast and well handling machine at the time it was built.
The thin external elements call for clean work and accurate gluing with cyanoacrylate glue. Bend them along the scored lines and fit the small fittings with tweezers.
The aircraft kit itself is not included in the package. Glue, paints and tools are not enclosed.
