The figure represents a pilot of the US Army Air Forces of the Second World War period in complete flying kit. It is completed by a seat, so the two make up a finished unit for a cockpit and the modeler does not have to look for a seat separately. It is intended for models of the P-51D Mustang fighter in 1:32 scale, that is the machine that escorted formations of bombers over Europe and was among the most widespread American fighters of the end of the war.

Wash the parts before the build in lukewarm water with dish soap and let them dry, so that the paint holds. Cut the surplus material off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder carefully. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts, which is given in the manufacturer's instructions: ordinary cement for polystyrene has no effect on resin parts, and super glue is used. It proves its worth to grade the painting, that is first to lay down the overall tone, then to deepen the shadows in the folds and finally to lighten the raised places. The face and hands deserve the most attention, because it is precisely at them that a viewer looks.
The figure brings a finished model to life, gives a display case scale and is a rewarding subject even for modelers who are only learning to paint figures. The airplane kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
