This product is a precisely turned metal barrel of the 10.5 cm KwK L/70 gun with a perforated muzzle brake in 1:35 scale. It is not a standalone kit of the tank but an accessory that replaces the plastic barrel in a model of the German heavy tank of the Löwe project (VK 7201). The manufacturer is the Polish brand Aber, known for quality metal barrels.
The Panzerkampfwagen VII Löwe was a German project for a super-heavy tank of the start of the Second World War that was not realized in the form of a production vehicle. It remained at the design stage and is a popular subject for modelers with an interest in German armor and in paper panzer projects.
A metal barrel has a perfectly circular cross section without the mold seams that have to be laboriously sanded down on plastic parts. The perforated muzzle brake and the fine details look more faithful than the plastic original. The barrel is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), and before painting it is recommended to degrease the metal and spray it with a primer.
