The 57 mm OQF 6 Pdr. Mk.V L/50 Barrel is a turned barrel in 1:35 scale for the British anti-tank gun of 57 mm caliber (6-pounder) in the Mk.V form with the L/50 barrel length.
Responsibility details are not available.
An add-on part, not a standalone model. This is an accurate turned barrel for the British anti-tank gun of 57 mm caliber (6-pounder), the Mk.V form with the lengthened barrel of L/50. The turned part has a perfectly round cross section and a sharp muzzle, and it replaces the split plastic barrel from the base kit.
The OQF 6 Pdr (Ordnance Quick-Firing 6-pounder) was a British anti-tank and tank gun of 57 mm caliber, one of the most widespread Allied anti-tank guns of the Second World War. The longer Mk.V version with the L/50 barrel improved the penetrating power over the early forms, and a number of British tanks and self-propelled guns carried it.
Degrease the metal barrel and, if there is a joint with the breech, strengthen it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or epoxy. Treat the metal with a primer before painting. Graphite highlighting of the muzzle and a fine wash will give the barrel a realistic metal look.
An add-on part. The model of the vehicle or the gun, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
