A resin accessory in 1:35 scale that adds heavy armor on the underside of the hull to a model of the Israeli heavy armored personnel carrier Nagmachon. It is not a vehicle kit. What matters is that the manufacturer lists the same element in more than one version, each shaped for a kit from a different maker - the mating surfaces and the dimensions differ between kits so much that a universal part would fit badly. The designation of the basic kit is given in the name of the item; check it before ordering.
The Nagmachon is based on the chassis of the Centurion tank rebuilt into a heavy carrier. Protection against a blast under the vehicle is one of the prominent features of its design and it appeared on vehicles in various thicknesses. An armor plate under the floor lifts the lower outline of the hull and changes the proportion between the height of the hull and the running gear, so even a small difference in thickness shows on a model.
Before you glue anything, lay the part on the hull and check whether it seats along its whole length and whether it clashes with the running gear and with the wheel mountings. That check is easy to do dry; once the glue has set it is not. Wash the mold release agent off the resin before gluing and level the mating surface on abrasive paper laid on a flat base. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue over the whole area and press the part down; fill any gap with putty, because on the underside of a vehicle the straight line of the armor is clearly apparent. Let the painting follow on from the rest of the suspension - primer, base color, then layers of dust and mud from the edges inward.
The set is an accessory for a model, not a kit in its own right. It is supplied unpainted; glue, paints and the basic kit are not included in the package.
