An unassembled plastic kit of the British AEC Dorchester armored command vehicle (Armoured Command Vehicle) in 1:35 scale from AFV Club. The package holds injection-molded plastic parts, photo-etched items and a well-worked interior of the command compartment.
The AEC Dorchester was a British armored command vehicle built on a heavy chassis and used as a mobile command post with radio equipment. The roomy box body served the staff for planning and communications. Vehicles of this type became famous above all in North Africa, where several captured examples were used by German units too.
We recommend first assembling and painting the interior of the command compartment before you close it up. Use thin cement for plastic, and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Spray the base coat with an airbrush and bring the surface to life with washes and pigments for the dust and mud effects typical of desert service.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
