The sizeable injection-molded plastic kit from the maker Trumpeter in 1:35 scale captures the multipurpose helicopter Eurocopter AS365N2 Dauphin 2. The large scale allows a richly broken up cabin interior and a rotor system rendered in detail; the package holds clear parts and fine photo-etched elements.
The AS365 Dauphin 2 is a medium twin-engine multipurpose helicopter, originally built by Aerospatiale and later by Eurocopter (today Airbus Helicopters). It serves for transport, for rescue and for special tasks, and it became the basis of a whole series of derived versions. Its characteristic feature is the shrouded tail rotor (fenestron).
In a large scale the interior comes into its own - finish and paint the cockpit and the cabin before the fuselage is closed. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue and the clear parts with canopy glue. Apply the paint with an airbrush over a primer; accent the rotor blades and the panel lines with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
