A set of self-adhesive painting masks from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:35 scale. The pre-cut masks help you separate the rubber tire bands of the road wheels cleanly from their hubs, so that while airbrushing a crisp transition of colors arises without laborious covering up. This is an accessory which is applied to the parts of the base kit, not a model in its own right; the kit has to be obtained separately.
The ASU-85 was a Soviet airborne self-propelled gun of the 1950s, designed as light tracked support for airborne landings. Its low silhouette and tracked chassis allowed it to move quickly and to give the infantry fire support; the caliber of the main gun let it destroy an opponent's armored targets.
Stick the masks onto cleaned and degreased wheel parts, press the edges down carefully and apply the paint in thin coats. Once dry, take the masks off carefully. For a faithful look, a matte green and fine weathering with dust work well.
