1:35 Bananas - cardboard packing boxes is a printed paper accessory for a diorama – a sheet with banana shipping cartons in 1:35 scale, not a plastic kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The sheet from ETA diorama is a printed paper accessory from which you fold miniature shipping cartons in 1:35 scale yourself. These are not injection-molded or resin crates but printed paper with flat developments that are cut out, scored and glued. The result is a box with faithful printing of the kind that belongs in a market, a store, by a loading dock, in the back of a shop or on the bed of a vehicle.
First trace the whole development with a scalpel along a rule and only then cut the outline out. Score the fold edges with the blunt side of the blade or an empty pen – the groove guides the paper and the edge then comes out sharp and straight, which with boxes is what matters most. Glue the flaps with PVA glue in small sections and always let them dry under the light pressure of tweezers. If you want the boxes sturdier and able to carry a figure or another part, back the walls with thin card.
Always go over the white cuts on the edges with a fine brush, otherwise a new box glares in a finished scene. Real cartons are creased, battered at the corners and dusty – press a corner in lightly, sand an edge gently and go over it with dry pigment. It is better to stack them irregularly, with one box turned or half open; a regular column looks artificial. At the end unify the whole stack with matte clear coat.
It is a printed paper accessory for a diorama. Glue, paints, clear coats and backing card are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
