Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin kit for experienced modelers in 1:35 scale from the Czech manufacturer ROP. The model is cast in resin and is intended to be assembled and painted; it captures the appearance of the real object faithfully.
Feste Kaiser Wilhelm II. is a German fortress at Mutzig in Alsace, built from the end of the nineteenth century as one of the first fully concrete and armored fortresses of its day. The designation Betonausführung 1917 refers to the concrete version of a component from the period of the First World War. The model captures a characteristic structural detail of this fortification complex.
First wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off carefully and sand the surfaces back (with respiratory protection). It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend a primer; build the concrete surfaces up by spraying light gray and sandy tones, bring out the recesses with a wash and suggest dust or mud with pigments. Large concrete surfaces come to life with subtle color modulation and traces of weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
