Billboard, German advertising posters of the 1940s from the manufacturer MAiM is a diorama accessory in 1:35 scale that gives an urban setting an authentic period character.
Responsibility details are not available.
This diorama accessory from the MAiM brand brings motifs of period German advertising of the 1940s into 1:35 scale. Advertising surfaces and hanging signs are among the details that define the place and the time of the action at once, and it is through them that an anonymous street becomes a definite scene. The set is intended for builders of urban dioramas who want to give their buildings and streets a believable atmosphere.
Period advertising comes into its own on the gable walls of houses, on fences, on corners or on freestanding boards. The motifs can be combined with the other accessories of the MAiM range, with paving, furniture or small street furniture, to create a complete scene. When fitting them, think of the logic of the space, because advertising belongs in busy places where passers-by would see it.
Even the fitted surfaces out with a fine matte clear coat so that the posters read as a natural part of the scene and not as a freshly pasted element. Fill the weathering out with oil paints or pigments, because shabby corners, runs and faded areas all add to the conviction of the advertising. The edges of the posters can be lightly torn or lifted so that they look as if they had been exposed to the weather for years.
This is an accessory for a diorama, not a kit of a vehicle. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
