A set of billboard and poster motifs in 1:35 scale for building dioramas and display cases.
Responsibility details are not available.
Billboard and poster motifs in 1:35 scale intended for dioramas. They are placed where advertising and notices hung in reality too: on the gables of houses, on poster hoardings, on the wooden fencing around a building site or on posts along a road. The number of motifs, their dimensions and the recommended way of fixing are stated by the manufacturer in the enclosed description.
A poster is a small thing in a diorama that does a lot of work. It adds a time and a place to a scene without your having to add further figures or machinery, and it breaks up a uniform area of wall. They also work well in the background of a display case, where they lead the eye to the main model.
First lay a motif in place dry and compare it with a figure: a person 175 centimeters tall measures roughly five centimeters in 1:35 scale, so you will see at once whether the poster fits in size. Choose the glue according to the undercoat; thin PVA holds well and leaves a moment for repositioning; an absorbent undercoat is worth coating with clear coat beforehand. So that a motif does not come across as a sticker, bend it over an edge, tear the edges lightly and, once dry, go over it with heavily thinned brown paint or dust it with pigment. A new area in the middle of a weathered wall is distracting, so unify the posters with their surroundings.
For builders of dioramas in 1:35 scale and for modelers who want to liven up the base under a vehicle or a figure. Working with it calls for no special tools.
A diorama, figures, glue and paints are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
