A model of the British ATMP light all-terrain transport platform with an ammunition pallet, 1:35 scale. A rewarding accessory for a diorama and a building subject in its own right.
Responsibility details are not available.
The abbreviation ATMP denotes a British light all-terrain transport platform, that is a small unarmored vehicle whose job is to get ammunition, supplies or wounded men to places an ordinary truck cannot reach. It was created for units that move on their own wheels and by air, which is why it is small, low and light. Beside combat vehicles it looks unremarkable, and all the more interesting for that in a scene that shows how supplies actually reach the battlefield.
According to the name, a pallet of ammunition is part of the set as well. The finished vehicle is small in 1:35, so it fits easily into a display case and alongside larger models, and as a whole it makes sense paired with figures or with the gun it is bringing ammunition to. The exact extent of the parts and the variants it covers are given in the instructions from the manufacturer.
A small vehicle means small parts, so tweezers and a sharp blade pay off. Clear the surplus material off the mating surfaces and wash and degrease the surface before painting. Spray the paint in thin coats so that it does not creep into the relief. The pallet of ammunition is a rewarding place for bringing out shadows and edges, because it is on the load that you see the vehicle at work.
Paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
