It is not a standalone model but an accessory meant for swapping the plastic wheels on a kit of the British Morris C8 Quad artillery tractor in the Mk II version. Cast resin wheels offer a sharper tire tread pattern and more faithful rim detail than injection-molded plastic.
The Morris Commercial C8, nicknamed the Quad, was a British artillery tractor with all-wheel drive from the Second World War. The types of tires and rims used differed between the individual versions, which is why replacement wheels are offered in variants matching the particular configuration of the vehicle.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin wheels and carefully cut off the casting blocks, usually at the contact patch of the tire. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Spray the wheels with a base coat first, then knock the tires back with pigments and dust effects for a faithful impression of service.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
