It is not a kit of a whole vehicle but a detail accessory, a complete antiaircraft weapon station with a faithful rendering of the mount, the barrels and the canvas cover for the resting state.
The Maxson quad mount with four Browning M2 machine guns of 12.7 mm caliber served the Allies in the Second World War as an effective antiaircraft and ground fire weapon, often on the chassis of a half-track. The canvas protected the mechanism and the barrels when the station was not in action, and it is a rewarding detail for a resting scene.
Wash the parts free of release agent residue, cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a sharp knife and fit the mating surfaces. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways while sanding resin. The canvas comes out with shading in the folds and a fine dusting, while a dry brush and a suggestion of wear bring the metal parts of the mount to life.
The accessory does not hold the model of the vehicle itself, the glue or the paints. It is intended for completing a kit you already have.
