A photo-etched detail set for the Soviet BT-7 (1937) light tank - vol. 1, basic set in 1:35 from Aber. Metal parts for superdetailing a plastic model, not a model of its own.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched detail set from Aber in 1:35 scale. It is not a model but a set of fine metal parts with which you refine a plastic kit of the Soviet BT-7 fast tank in its 1937 version. The basic volume 1 usually covers the key surfaces of the hull and the turret and their details. The exact content is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The BT-7 was a Soviet fast, or cavalry, light tank of the 1930s. It was marked by a powerful engine, a Christie type convertible wheel-and-track suspension and high mobility. The 1937 version received a new welded conical turret. BT-7 tanks were fielded in the opening phase of the fighting on the Eastern Front.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife, bend them over a ruler or on a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal before painting and give it a coat of primer. The fine details stand out once they are picked out with a wash and a drybrush; mud and dust effects suit Soviet equipment.
This is a standalone photo-etched accessory for experienced modelers. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
