A resin figure, Bundeswehr, an ISAF patrol in Afghanistan no. 2, in 1:35 scale from MAiM: a modern German soldier in the field.
Responsibility details are not available.
A collector resin figure of a modern German soldier in 1:35 scale made by MAiM. This is the second pose in the series capturing Bundeswehr soldiers from a patrol of the international ISAF force in Afghanistan in the uniform and gear of the period. The figure is meant to be assembled, painted and used in modern military dioramas. The exact number of parts and pose variants is not stated here.
The International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) operated in Afghanistan from 2001 under a UN mandate, and Germany assigned Bundeswehr units to it. The soldiers wore a modern field uniform, a bulletproof vest and a helmet matching the overseas missions of the day. The series of figures makes it possible to build a patrol of several characters.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); wear respiratory protection while sanding resin. Apply a primer before painting and build the uniform and the gear up in thin layers. The face and the fabric come out well after shading, a wash in the folds and a light dry brush.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
