This item from the German manufacturer MAiM is a set of three collector resin figures in 1:35 scale. The figures belong to the genre post-apocalyptic and horror range and suit an action scene in which a group of characters fights infection or the danger of their surroundings. They are supplied unassembled and unpainted as castings from which you put the scene together as you like.
Resin holds the fine detail of faces, clothing and gear better than injection-molded plastic, which is why the figures bring a diorama to life well once they are painted. Before gluing it is advisable to wash the mold release residue off the parts and clean up the casting stubs and any flash. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate), not with modeling cement for plastic, which does not hold on resin.
The set will be appreciated by modelers and diorama builders who put together post-apocalyptic and horror scenes and want to bring several characters into a scene at once. We recommend a more experienced hand because of the work with resin and the need to paint the figures (acrylic or oil paints, ideally an airbrush plus a brush for the details).
