This is a detail add-on set, not a standalone model. The set from LZ models in 1:35 scale contains the canvas top for the open cab of the American Diamond T truck. In sets of this type the canvas is usually executed as a thin shaped part that faithfully imitates sagging fabric with its ribs and gives a model with an open cab a realistic roof. Use calls for the matching base Diamond T model, which is not included in the package.
The set makes it possible to build the Diamond T with the open cab covered by a canvas top, that is in the configuration common in field service. It replaces or supplements the parts of the base kit and raises the fidelity of the model in a prominent place above the cab.
Clean the part up and shape it to the cab of the model if needed. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting, paint the canvas matte and bring out the texture of the fabric with glazes, a wash in the folds and a light dry brush; a final dust patina will unify the canvas with the rest of the vehicle.
It is an add-on set, not a standalone model. The base Diamond T model, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
