A chart table is a piece of equipment of a command post: a working surface over which maps are spread out and an advance is planned. In a diorama it is a rewarding element, because it gives a scene a reason for the figures to gather around it and at the same time it offers an area that can be looked at from above. The accessory is in 1:35 scale, that is, in the most ordinary scale for the equipment and figures of a land battlefield.
Decals are part of the delivery, which complete the top of the table with the drawing of maps and documents. Without them it would stay empty, and it is precisely the printed surface that makes the accessory what it is: a place where something is happening in the scene. Which motifs the sheet offers is shown by the illustration from the manufacturer.
When gluing, go by the instructions from the manufacturer and try the glue in a place that is not very visible. Before painting, wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent, degrease them and let them dry. Paint the top before the decals go onto it and leave the surface under them smooth, otherwise a silvery haze will appear under the decal. Decals are usually applied by the wet method, that is, with a brief soaking and sliding off the backing, with aligning by a softener. Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is a self-adhesive version, because a soaked self-adhesive film is ruined, whereas a wet decal that has not been soaked can be soaked afterward.
The accessory given is supplied, including the decals. Figures, paints, glue and a softener are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
