A brass photo-etched set from Voyager Model in 1:35 scale. It is not a model of the tank but a collection of small brass parts with which you replace or add the pins joining the track links on a model of the Chinese ZTZ-99 tank. Faithful pins bring out the detail of the running gear.
The ZTZ-99 (also known as the Type 99) is a modern Chinese main battle tank. The tracks are made up of individual links joined by pins; on the real vehicle the heads of the pins are clearly visible. A faithful rendering of these details livens up the running gear of a model.
Separate the small parts with a sharp knife on a hard mat and work with tweezers. Bond them with a small amount of super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend finishing the running gear and the tracks before closing up the hull; apply a base coat suitable for metal before painting.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
